Scintilla is an independent literary arts journal looking for new voices. While we are not walking away from traditional print publication, we are embracing digital publication in new formats. As we move forward in this domain, we may explore other types of publication such as novels, short story collections, and poetry collections.
Scintilla Press was founded March 2011 in St. Louis, Missouri and is now in Conway, Arkansas as of July 2012. Currently, we do not pay writers for their work, because the magazine is a money-losing venture. If we ever reach the point where we cover more than our costs, we will gladly change course.
